Mad Hatter Profile Lineart

~ I must say have a soft spot for the Mad Hatter - I like villains that are less violent and more creepy. While his TAS design is one of my favorites, I enjoy drawing him with my own twist too; in this case, that means more messy and worn out. Not sure if that would come from Hatter not giving a damn or not being able to take proper care of himself for whatever reason. Maybe a mixture.

~ HOLY CRAP. This might actually be the first lineart that I like more than the inital sketch! Usually, I always feel that my lines suck some lift out of the sketch, but not so much here. I think a lot of that is owed to the wonderful brush settings I found, courtesy of ~Sinistar1 ! You can find them here: [link]
I used the "normal ink" brush and it's an absolute gem. It retains a lot of personality in the lines, it's wonderful.
